Why Medication Can't Be Returned

Once medication has been dispensed and shipped, it cannot be returned or refunded. This is not a Verge-specific policyβ€”it's a federal regulatory requirement that applies to all prescription medications.

Why Returns Aren't Allowed

There are three core reasons prescription medication cannot be returned:

  • Compounded medications are made to order. Your medication is prepared specifically for you based on your prescription. It's not a generic product that can be resold or restocked.

  • Prescription medications cannot legally be restocked or resold. Once medication leaves the pharmacy, there's no way to verify it was stored correctly, kept at the right temperature, or handled safely. For patient safety, it's treated as unusable.

  • Safety standards cannot be guaranteed after dispensing. The integrity of the medication, packaging, and storage conditions cannot be confirmed once the product is in your possession.

What This Means for You

Because of these regulations:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled or returned after approval

  • Medication cannot be refunded once dispensed

  • This policy applies industry-wide, not just to Verge

If Your Medication Arrived Damaged

If your medication arrived damaged, appears compromised, or you have a quality concern:

  1. Do not use the medication

  2. Contact support immediately

  3. Include clear photos of the issue

  4. A support team member will review and assist

Damaged or compromised shipments are addressed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support as soon as you notice an issue.
