Shipping Timeline Explained (7–10 Business Days)

Most orders arrive within 7–10 business days from approval to delivery. This timeline includes pharmacy processingβ€”not just shipping time. Understanding what happens during those days helps set accurate expectations.

The Timeline Starts at Approval, Not Checkout

The 7–10 business day window begins after your provider approves your order, not when you complete checkout. Before approval, a provider must review your medical questionnaire. Only after approval does the timeline begin.

If your order is still pending provider review, the shipping clock hasn't started yet. See How the Process Works for the full lifecycle.

What Makes Up the 7–10 Day Timeline

1. Pharmacy Processing and Compounding (2–5 Business Days)

Because compounded medications are made to order, the pharmacy must review your prescription, compound your medication, package everything, and prepare it for carrier pickup. Orders are processed in the order received, so pharmacy volume can affect timing.

2. Transit Time (2–5 Business Days)

Once your order ships, it travels to your door. You'll receive tracking information when your order leaves the pharmacy.

Why First-Time Orders May Take Longer

Your first order often takes slightly longer than refills because new patient verification may require additional review, and the pharmacy is handling your prescription for the first time. Reorder timing is typically faster.

What "Business Days" Means

Business days exclude weekends and major holidays. If your order is approved on a Friday, the clock starts Monday.

Why Delays Happen

Most orders arrive on time, but delays can occur when pharmacy volume is high, additional verification is needed, there are carrier delays, or your shipping address requires clarification. Contact support if you don't have tracking after 5 business days from approval.

How to Plan Ahead

Order approximately 20 days after your last order to allow time for provider review, pharmacy processing, and shipping. Waiting until you're nearly out leaves no buffer for delays.
