What Does "Sent to Pharmacy" Mean?

When your order shows "Sent to Pharmacy" (sometimes shown as "In Process" or "At Pharmacy"), it means your prescription has been approved by your provider and transmitted to a partner pharmacy for preparation. This is a normal, active stage in your orderβ€”your medication is being worked on.

What Happens During This Status

Once your prescription arrives at the pharmacy, the following steps occur:

  1. Prescription review β€” the pharmacy verifies your prescription details

  2. Compounding β€” your medication is prepared fresh to your specific dose (compounded medications are made to order)

  3. Packaging β€” your medication is packaged with necessary supplies

  4. Shipment preparation β€” your order is prepared for carrier pickup

This phase is included in the 7–10 business day timeline from approval to delivery. It typically accounts for 2–5 business days before your order ships.

What This Status Does NOT Mean

  • It does not mean your order is stuck

  • It does not mean there's a problem

  • It does not require any action from you

Orders in this status are actively being prepared. Because compounded medications are made from scratch for each patient, preparation simply takes time.

When Sent to Pharmacy Occurs in the Timeline

The order lifecycle looks like this:

  1. Checkout β€” pending authorization placed

  2. Provider review β€” your medical questionnaire is reviewed

  3. Approved β€” payment captured, prescription transmitted to pharmacy

  4. Sent to pharmacy / In process ← you are here

  5. Shipped β€” medication leaves the pharmacy, tracking generated

  6. Delivered β€” medication arrives at your door

When to Contact Support
