What Does "Sent to Pharmacy" Mean?
When your order shows "Sent to Pharmacy" (sometimes shown as "In Process" or "At Pharmacy"), it means your prescription has been approved by your provider and transmitted to a partner pharmacy for preparation. This is a normal, active stage in your orderβyour medication is being worked on.
What Happens During This Status
Once your prescription arrives at the pharmacy, the following steps occur:
Prescription review β the pharmacy verifies your prescription details
Compounding β your medication is prepared fresh to your specific dose (compounded medications are made to order)
Packaging β your medication is packaged with necessary supplies
Shipment preparation β your order is prepared for carrier pickup
This phase is included in the 7β10 business day timeline from approval to delivery. It typically accounts for 2β5 business days before your order ships.
What This Status Does NOT Mean
It does not mean your order is stuck
It does not mean there's a problem
It does not require any action from you
Orders in this status are actively being prepared. Because compounded medications are made from scratch for each patient, preparation simply takes time.
