Refund Policy Explained

Verge does not offer refunds once your treatment has been approved and your prescription has been sent to the pharmacy. This policy exists for regulatory and safety reasons, and it applies to all compounded medications.

Why Refunds Are Not Available

Once your order is approved, your medication is compounded specifically for you by an FDA-registered, state-licensed pharmacy. Compounded medications are:

  • Made to order β€” Your medication is prepared based on your specific prescription

  • Personalized β€” It cannot be restocked, resold, or reused

  • Non-returnable β€” Once compounded, the medication cannot be returned for safety and regulatory reasons

This is why the order is final once treatment is approved. The pharmacy cannot take back medication that was made specifically for you.

What"Approved"Means

Your order becomes final when treatment is approved. At that point:

  1. A licensed provider has reviewed your medical questionnaire and determined treatment is appropriate

  2. Your payment has been captured (the pending authorization converts to a real charge)

  3. Your prescription has been sent to the pharmacy

  4. The pharmacy has begun preparing your medication

Once the prescription reaches the pharmacy, the compounding process begins and the order cannot be reversed.

You're Protected Before Approval

Before your treatment is approved, you are not charged. When you complete checkout:

  • A pending authorization is placed on your card

  • This is not a real charge

  • If your provider does not approve treatment, the authorization is released and you are not charged

This means you'reprotected if treatment isn't right for you. For more details, see How the Process Works.

When to Contact Support

While refunds are not available after approval, there are situations where you should reach out:

Quality or Shipping Issues

If your medication arrived damaged, was shipped incorrectly, or has a quality concern:

  • Contact support immediately

  • Do not use the medication

  • Provide photos and details about the issue

Genuine Errors

If there was a clear error with your order (such as receiving the wrong medication), contact support right away. Include your order details and a description of what happened.

What to Do If You Change Your Mind

If you decide you no longer want treatment before your order is approved:

  1. Log into your account

  2. Check your order status

  3. If it still shows "pending" or "under review," contact support immediately

Once the status shows "approved" or "sent to pharmacy," the order cannot be canceled or refunded.

Summary

  • Refunds are not available once treatment is approved and sent to pharmacy

  • Compounded medications are made specifically for you and cannot be returned

  • You are only charged if your provider approves treatment

  • The pending authorization before approval protects you if you're not approved

  • For quality issues or genuine errors, contact support immediately

Our goal is to provide safe, personalized treatmentβ€”and that means your medication is made just for you, which makes it impossible to return once prepared.
